Why do doctors have to be so cryptic?

Why is it that you can't ever get a straight answer out of a doctor's office?!? I swear it's the most frustrating thing. I could probably get a password to the Pentagon easier than I could find out what's written in my medical chart.

Yesterday they called and left me a message to call them. So today I did. The nurse says "You have to come back in. Some of the levels in your blood test were high." So naturally this concerns me and I ask "Which levels?". She responds with, "Well it looks like your CBC". So, I hang up with her and rush off to Google "CBC" thinking that I will find an explanation. Turns out that CBC is just the test and doesn't tell me anything.

Why do they have to do things like that!?!
